Congratulations to Riyo Mori the New Miss Universe!

We had a nice time on May 27th at the West Tokyo meeting. If you could not make it, you missed a good discussion. Information about the next meeting will be posted soon, but we just thought we would congratulate 20-year-old Riyo Mori. She is the second Japanese to win the contest and the first Japanese woman crowned Miss Universe since 1959. We wish much happiness and hope she could attend one of our meetings soon. Welcome to the English Teacher and Learner Cooperative (eTLC). We are a non-commercial organization the purposes of which are to provide English learners in Japan with the opportunities to develop and practice their knowledge of English, to provide teachers of English in Japan with opportunities to help English learners in that development and practice, and to provide the means through which these purposes can be accomplished. Currently, our Niiza and West Tokyo chapter meets monthly at eTLC Central, located near Hibarigaoka Station on the Seibu-Ikebukuro Line. Please contact us if you are interested in joining us.
