February 25 is the Next Meeting in West Tokyo
A hearty thanks to the members who attended the January meeting. As always it was a very enjoyable discussion. We talked about the recycling practices in our neighborhoods and the ins and outs concerning garbage in general. On the surface it appeared to be a rather boring topic, but we had a very lively time.
For February we decided that it would be nice to focus on the TV format wars: Plasma vs. LCD; Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD. Also, the mini-scandal focused around the Natto Diet could be included in our overall discussion of the ‘idiot’ box. Check the West Tokyo site for details.
Our meetings are organized as follows:
During the first part of the meeting, we will share general ideas about the topic.
Next, we will have a short interactive exercise dealing with the theme.
In the final part of our meeting, we will spend some time working on a learning strategy.
