The West Tokyo Meeting is October 22

TOPIC: Halloween Fun and the Changing Funeral Scene

Perhaps, funerals may not sound like the best topic to use for an eTLC meeting. With Halloween approaching, though, a rather creepy but interesting way to get into the Halloween mood may be to discuss some of the changes that are occurring in the memorial service industry. Most of us are aware that with the aging population of Japan, the number of funerals are on the rise. Please see the West Tokyo Chapter site for details. Welcome to the English Teacher and Learner Cooperative (eTLC). We are a non-commercial organization the purposes of which are to provide English learners in Japan with the opportunities to develop and practice their knowledge of English, to provide teachers of English in Japan with opportunities to help English learners in that development and practice, and to provide the means through which these purposes can be accomplished.
