Thanks to those who attended the September Toyohashi JALT Meeting
Kenneth Biegel had a great time introducing his textbook series, “What About You?” (McGraw-Hill Education) to the people who attended on September 25.
The presentation addressed some difficulties teachers often face while trying to find appropriate materials to use in the EFL classroom. A large segment of the presentation focused on how to utilize published materials, or design appropriate materials for specific situations. Finally, Mr. Biegel introduced his attempt to design appropriate materials for the non-intensive nature of most Japanese university classes, and how this resulted in his writing the McGraw-Hill series, “What About You?”
