I really enjoyed reading the six novella's in this book. This series is about romance and is fiction but the amount of study put into this to make it so realistic was just wonderful. Each book follows a different fireperson or ems (rescue)personal as they meet and fall in love with their significant others, or fight to stay in love and married when your spouse has problems with your job, and fears for your safety. This series has romance, fires, rescues, and losses, it touches on 9/11,and has an arsonist. This book goes into equipment what different trucks do, training fire personal go through before becoming fire men or women and continuous training. I really enjoyed the romance, and realistic portrayal of the characters in the books and would highly recommend them to anyone who likes a good romance with some intrigue. I would also read other books by this author.
