A novel that makes you want more, September 12, 2011

Thoroughly loved this book! Ms. Morrow creates characters that are believable and engaging. This book has a perfect mixture of Russia’s history, the complexities of human relationships, and thrills of migrating to a new home, new customs and future. None of the characters are stagnant. Unlike many historical novels, I couldn’t “see” each twist of the plot, which made the story that much more enjoyable.
Ms. Morrow’s attention to detail gave my mind’s eye the ability to feel, hear, and see what her characters were experiencing. And much to my delight, this story was far from flowery or over done. A wonderful blend of laughter, suspense, tragedy, and at times, violence. Completely believable!
I am anxiously awaiting the next novel!
