Dralin pulls you in from the first page!
I have read all of John Carroll's work so far, and he gets better with each book. Dralin is a dark fantasy whose characters live in world that is rife with hardship, finding hope and happiness where they can. Vivid description make the world of Dralin almost a character in itself. I found this a hard book to put down, because each page had me wondering what was going to happen next, and I was surprised by the twists and turns the plot took.
If you read this and like it, seek out Carroll's other books. You'll be glad you did!
