5 Stars Real Dogs, Real Life Lessons and A Very Real Dog Lover
Kelly Preston's debut book will grab your emotions and take you on the ride of life lessons in a way you have never experienced. With characters like "Buffy", "Gizmo", "Carla Mae", "Mr. MaGoo" and "Betty Boop" you will be amused and enthralled from page one in this well-written and highly creative true story of an exceptional dog lover and her perhaps even more exceptional dogs. Oh, and you will read the book as written by both the top dog and the human...and sometimes confuse the two. Warning, this book can be a tear jerker, but worth every tear you may shed. There is unconditional love here and it flows both ways. These dogs needed no one less, no one else really, than the loving owner they got, Kelly Preston. She in turn grew as a person both emotionally and intellectually in ways she never could have imagined. Highly recommended!
5 Stars Truly Inspirational
I have just finished reading this book. What came through for me is a wonderfully heart-warming tale of one lady's' bravery and commitment to her fur family. I think everyone who loves their pets will appreciate the passion Kelly describes for her family, but with enduring love and dedication Kelly overcomes some massive problems for her beloved pets, taking one day at a time with a positive, stoic and determined attitude.
Written in both Kellys and her little 'Alpha male' Lhaso Magoos - Kellys style being open, honest and down to earth, Magoo's being humorous, forthright and exceedingly HUMBLE (!)
Kelly is a real inspiration to anyone who, like me, has ever wondered if they can cope on their own.
